Banned Platini vows to ‘fight’ for FIFA presidency campaign

 

Michel Platini vowed in an interview with AFP on Tuesday to pursue his bid to become FIFA president despite being banned by the world football governing body for eight years.

The UEFA president said Monday’s ruling by FIFA’s ethics tribunal was “a kick in the teeth” but said he will “fight to clear my name.”
